Special Master Carver Baglan Sitting Dragon Meerschaum Pipe - What a showpiece by Master Carver Baglan! Breathtaking carving of a slithering dragon wrapped around a blooming flower. The dragon scales are carved to perfection, as are his claw feet and mouthful of teeth. A blooming rose with gracefully unfolding petals surrounds the top of the pipe bowl. The petals have fine textured carving all around the edges. Baglan designed and carved this spectacular pipe in a way that allows it to sit and not topple over. The I. Baglan signature is carved at the end of the shank on the underside of the smooth band. The pipe is finished with a special wax coating giving it a pleasant cream color. The scrolled designer bent stem is an amber color, complementing the cream pipe color. A marvelous collectible that will also be a fantastic tobacco smoking pipe.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long lasting durability.
