Tall Billiard Arasta Meerschaum Pipe

Tall Billiard Arasta Meerschaum Pipe - Carved in a smooth finish with a rusticated underside and shank, this meerschaum pipe is made by Arasta, although it is unsigned. The lightweight pipe is carved with a slight raised ridge on the front face of the bowl where the rustication comes to a point. The coloring of the pipe bowl is antiquish, which contrasts with the white of the rusticated meerschaum. A black, military bit style bent stem tapers outward at the mouthpiece and completes the contrasting look of the pipe.

Please note that the pipe bowl opening is slightly off-center, and this is reflected by a lower price, yet it will not impact the pipe's function.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made from a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
