I collect antique Meerschaum pipes. If you are familiar with such you are aware of the immense variety of shapes they take, from diminutive cheroot holders to large portrait heads. And the hugely available holders for briar pipes by and large do not work for most older Meerschaum pipes. These are the most versatile antique Meerschaum pipe holders I have found- and I got a BOX of pipe holders of all sorts to prove it. The "secret" is pliability. The two rubbery nubs are grippy and bendable and clasp securely (so important for breakable Meerschaum) the stem or ferule. I can't tell you HOW MANY wood and metal pipe stands I've tried to balance an antique Meerschaum on to no avail. These will not work for every pipe, no stand made fits all, But if you got a small collection of vintage 1860-1910) carved Meerschaum pipes, this simple product effectively and protectively cradles more of them than ANY product I have found.
