Deluxe Govem Signed Rustic Calcined Meerschaum Pipe Set - Ahmet Goven, a well-known Turkish carver, created this calcined apple bowl meerschaum pipe. The pipe was carved in a rusticated texture with a dark brown tint on the top, bottom, and end of the shank. It features a yellow, bent stem with black marbling. The pipe comes with a matching meerschaum pipe tool, which also has rusticated carving with dark brown ends. At one end, there is a metal tamper, while the other end has a scoop. Carver Govem signed the pipe on the smooth side of the shank. The measurements for both are shown below.

Our calcined meerschaum pipes are hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. The pipe undergoes a heat treatment to color and darken the rim, giving it its distinct, appealing appearance. The pipe is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will deliver a cool, dry smoking experience and will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.
