The pipe is lightweight for its size. Master carver A. Govem signed the pipe on the side of the smooth shank. The shank sweeps upward in the Oom Paul fashion and connects to a full-bent, scrolled designer stem that completes the pipe. This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made out of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
