Lion Short Bowl Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe

Lion Short Bowl Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe - Convenient for a quick smoke, this lion head pipe has a small, short bowl. The carved lion mane circles the sides and back. The shank is smooth and joins to a long, churchwarden bent stem that is colored in vivid amber tones. The long stem gives the smoke time to cool as it travels from the pipe bowl to the end of the mouthpiece. The pipe comes with a soft black velvet drawstring pouch for storage and protection.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability. Since every solid block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, each pipe is a unique, one-of-a kind piece of artistry.

NOTE: This pipe does not come in a custom fitted case, however, it does fit in our Churchwarden Velvet Chest.
