Roaring Lion Bent Stem Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe

Roaring Lion Bent Stem Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe - A carving of a lion head, and one can almost hear his roar with a nose snarl and mouth open, baring sharp teeth. The underside and shank of this churchwarden pipe are carved in a smooth finish. A sweeping, bent churchwarden stem is marbled in amber shades. The long stem allows the smoke to cool as it travels from the pipe bowl to the end of the mouthpiece. The pipe comes with a soft black velvet drawstring pouch for storage and protection.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability. Since every solid block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, no two pipes are the same.
