Deluxe Lion Smooth Shank Meerschaum Pipe - A roaring lion is carved in fine detail and polished to a nice glossy finish. His open mouth exposes sharp teeth, and his wrinkled nose gives a sense of snarling and growling. A flowing mane frames his face, covering the sides and back of the pipe bowl. A smooth shank joins a bent stem colored in swirls of amber tones.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.
