Masonic Signed Govem Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe - This outstanding churchwarden pipe is hand-carved by master carver Govem with an embossed emblem of the Freemasonry Crest with the Masonic square, compass, and letter G on the front of the pipe bowl. Both sides of the tomato-style pipe bowl have an embossed carved "fleur-de-lis," which translates to "flower of the lily" and is a stylized lily or iris, often used as a symbol of French royalty and purity. The symbol is also elaborately embossed on the underside. The side of the smooth shank shows the A. Govem signature. The pipe was dipped in a special wax formula to give it a rich golden yellow finish. The long, bent churchwarden stem is colored in marbled amber shades that complement the pipe's finish. Because of the pipe's length, the case is double-hinged for safety.

In addition to its pleasing look, the long stem of a churchwarden pipe serves to keep smoke and heat further away from the pipe smoker's face.
