Genuine Turkish meerschaum lines the inside of the bowl and serves as a natural filter to deliver a pleasant, cool, dry smoking experience. Although it is not required, a normal 9-mm filter can be used if preferred. The shank is connected to a solid black bent stem by a silver ring framed with two yellow bands, which gives the pipe a modern look.
