Special Natural Stone Elephant Meerschaum Pipe - What a rare find! This meerschaum pipe is carved from natural, raw meerschaum stone, and it is quite the sizeable chunk! There are a few areas carved in a satiny smooth polished finish that contrast the natural look. The pipe features an elephant head with its trunk curled, carved on the back of the pipe bowl over the pipe's shank. The pipe offers a long, straight stem marbled in amber shades. It is a definite conversational piece and a fine pipe to add to a meerschaum collection.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating while also drawing out smoke particles and tar. Over time, the pipe will change color as it is smoked. The stem is composed of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
