Nording Black Grain Freehand #3 Briar Pipe - This beautiful Erik Nording pipe is similar to the Nording Giant Freehand B pipe. The pipe is a freehand design colored in a light shade of brown with black graining; only it is a smaller version that does not stand and is a lower price. Although it is smaller, it is still made from the very best plateau briar, which is the outer part of the block where the nicest texture and beauty of the wood grain is found. Like the Giant model, the pipe bowl and shank are carved in a smooth finish with a touch of rustication on the rim, and it is polished to a high gloss that accentuates the black grain.

The pipe is stamped "Nording Made in Denmark" in a circle on the underside of the shank with the letter "B" stamped in the middle. The tapered, scrolled black stem offers a graceful bend and has a white scripted initial "N" embedded in the vulcanite stem. This one-of-a-kind pipe comes in a dark velvet drawstring pouch with the Nording signature logo and Denmark printed in gold.
