Nørding Orange Grain Freehand #2 Briar Pipe - This Nørding briar pipe is a striking example of Erik Nørding’s freehand artistry, highlighted by rich, straight orange grain and bold organic shaping. The vivid, flame-like grain patterns are enhanced by a smooth, high-gloss polish, giving the pipe a warm, luminous presence. A generously proportioned bowl provides ample capacity for your favorite pipe tobacco, while subtle rusticated accents along the rim add visual depth and contrast to the otherwise silky smooth finish.
Carved from select plateau briar—the prized outer portion of the briar block known for its exceptional texture and grain—this pipe showcases the natural beauty of the wood at its finest. The underside of the shank is stamped “NØRDING Made in Denmark” in a circular mark with the number “2” centered within, authenticating the pipe and indicating its second-tier grading with excellent grain quality.
The design is completed by a gracefully bent, tapered black vulcanite stem with a subtle scroll profile, finished with Erik Nørding’s signature white scripted “N” inlay set into the top of the stem.
Since the early 1960s, Erik Nørding has been internationally recognized for his one-of-a-kind, hand-carved freehand pipes. Crafted just outside Copenhagen, Denmark, each pipe is designed to feel comfortable in the hand, light in the mouth, and to deliver an exceptional smoking experience from the very first puff. No two Nørding pipes are exactly alike, making each piece both personal and highly collectible.
This Danish freehand pipe includes a dark velvet drawstring pouch featuring the Nørding signature logo and “Denmark” printed in gold.
