Signed Selver Claw Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe - Carved and signed by master carver Selver, this churchwarden pipe has a claw with pointed talons holding a smooth, polished bowl. The detailed carving of the scales of the claw is immaculate, contrasting with the smooth, glossy pipe bowl. Lightly etched at the end of the shank is the Selver signature. The long, bent churchwarden stem sweeps into a graceful arch and is marbled in bright amber shades. The overall design showcases the artistry of Selver and offers a unique smoking experience, as the extended stem allows for a cooler, more flavorful draw.

In addition to its pleasing look, the long stem of a churchwarden pipe serves to keep smoke and heat further away from the pipe smoker's face. Along with the natural filtering quality of meerschaum, which is known to deliver a cool, dry smoking experience, a churchwarden stem allows smoke to cool even more as it travels the extra distance from the bowl to the end of the mouthpiece.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating. The pipe will change color over time to shades of golden brown as it is smoked, drawing out nicotine and tar particles with its natural filtering. The stem is made from a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
