Smooth Saddle Stem Arasta Meerschaum Pipe - Arasta carved this smooth pipe in an antiqued, off-white polished finish. A touch of lightly carved lattice decorates one side of the thick, long shank. The shank attaches to a very slightly bent black saddle stem that complements the antique color of the meerschaum. Although unsigned, the pipe is carved with the care and expertise known by Arasta and is an ideal addition for the pipe smoker who prefers a shorter length.

This genuine meerschaum tobacco pipe is hand-carved from 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving, the pipe is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The meerschaum pipe will change color over time as it is smoked and develop a rich patina. The stem is made from a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a beautiful, finished look and long-lasting durability.
