Special Hand Carved Baglan Abraham LincolnMeerschaum Pipe - President Abraham Lincoln pipe is carved and signed by Master Carver I. Baglan who is well known for his head carvings. Baglan's signature is found on the underside at the end of the shank. The pipe is carved much to Lincoln's likeness, from his high cheekbones and lean face to his well groomed beard and full head of hair. The pipe has elaborate carving underneath the bowl that carries onto the shank. It was double dipped in a special wax formula made by Baglan to give the pipe a rich warm color. A marble scrolled designer stem that is fully bent adds to the grandness of this pipe. What a fine presidential smoking pipe and a fine collectible piece of history, both for the subject and the carver.
This meerschaum pipe is Hand Carved from 100% Solid Block Meerschaum imported directly from central Turkey. Once carved it is soaked in beeswax so that it will color over time after being smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for good looks and long lasting durability.
Every meerschaum pipe we sell is hand carved so no two pipes are exactly the same. Each hand carved pipe comes in a custom made burgundy leather and velvet lined brass hinged case which is custom fitted and unique to that individual pipe.
