Special Hand Carved Baglan Colored Lion CrestMeerschaum Pipe - An embossed roaring lion with a flowing mane is carved by Master Carver Baglan on an apple shaped pipe bowl. The thick, deep bowl is carved in a pattern of round lattice. The shank is carved of palm leaves and decorative bands.
At the end of the shank is a smooth band with the signature of Baglan carved underneath. A polished marbled scrolled fully bent designer stem finishes this handsome pipe. Baglan dipped the pipe in a special wax formula he made to give the pipe a rich warm caramel color.
This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped into beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will continue to color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long lasting durability.
Every meerschaum pipe we sell is hand carved so no two pipes are exactly the same. Each hand carved pipe comes in a custom made burgundy leather and velvet lined brass hinged case which is custom fitted and unique to that individual pipe.
