Squat Rhodesian Arasta Smooth Meerschaum Pipe - Polished to a fine gloss, this featherweight meerschaum pipe is carved in a smooth finish. The pipe is a squat Rhodesian bowl style that is similar to a saucer shape. Two traditional rings are carved around the bowl to accentuate the definition between the lower bowl and the upper section, maintaining the classic inverted silhouette Rhodesian lovers admire. The smooth shank connects to a military-bit stem. The end cap is a bright pearlescent yellow, and the stem is a solid butterscotch yellow that is tapered and only very slightly bent. Although unsigned, this meerschaum pipe is made by Arasta, who is best known for exceptional quality and refined aesthetics.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made from a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
