Special Tomato Oval Shank Straight Stem Meerschaum Pipe - Carved to a smooth finish with a gloss polish, this meerschaum pipe is a tomato pipe bowl shape. A row of delicately carved round lattice circles the top of the bowl. The pipe has a flat bottom and a long, smooth oval shank. It allows the pipe to sit without toppling over. A vibrantly colored straight saddle stem adds to the overall length of the pipe.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand carved pipe comes in a custom-made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a special fit that is unique to this smooth tomato meerschaum pipe.
