Special Topkapi Silver Band Meerschaum Pipe - The hand carving of this special pipe is inspired by the famous Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, Turkey. The pipe is elaborately detailed from the top of the bowl to the end of the shank. The calabash style rim is decorated with tiny round lattice and a row of beads circling the top of the rim. The design has seven carved indentations with beading carved underneath and framing the carved pillars that represent some of the architecture of the palace. The bottom half of the deep pipe bowl is carved in teardrop lattice. The shank is also carved in a lattice design. A silver-colored band brings a first-class look as it joins the shank to the bent designer stem. 

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.
