Topkapi Smooth Bent Stem Meerschaum Pipe

Topkapi Smooth Bent Stem Meerschaum Pipe - Inspired by the Topkapi Palace architecture in Istanbul, Turkey, this pipe has elaborate carving around the top of the bowl and all around the calabash-style rim. The bottom half of the bowl is smooth, as is the shank. The pipe is lightweight for its size and is finished with a bent stem colored in amber tones.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, so no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a custom-made burgundy leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a special fit and unique to this Topkapi pipe.
