U.S. Army Lattice Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe - An exceptional churchwarden pipe has "U.S. Army" and an embossed 5-pointed star carved on the front face of the pipe bowl. It is framed by a gorgeous designer lattice motif that is intricately carved around the Dublin-style pipe bowl and shank. The detailed lattice pattern on top of both sides of the bowl is carved in 3D. It takes a very talented carver with patience to achieve this unique effect. The long churchwarden stem is bent and colored in a mix of marbled amber tones. This is one special pipe!

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as you smoke it. The stem is made out of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every solid block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, each pipe is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of artistry.
