Zeus Knurl Black Stem Meerschaum Pipe - Beautifully carved small portrait pipe of Zeus, God of the Sky. The bearded Zeus has curly locks of hair peering from under a carved wreath of leaves. This pipe is carved in such a way that it will sit with a slight tilt and not topple over. It has a smooth knurl attaching to a black bent stem. This is the smallest knurl pipe in our collection and ideal for the tobacco pipe smoker who will appreciate a small pipe with this feature.

A knurl is a piece of solid block meerschaum designed in either a carved or smooth finish. It fits on the shank of the meerschaum pipe and serves as an attractive extension. A knurl makes the shank longer thus increasing the overall length of the pipe. With this extension the smoke has further to travel with more time to cool down before reaching the end of the mouthpiece. Knurls on our meerschaum pipes have a Teflon threaded connector making it easy to remove when cleaning the pipe.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long lasting durability.

Every meerschaum pipe we sell is hand carved so no two pipes are exactly the same. Each hand carved pipe comes in a custom burgundy leather and velvet lined brass hinged case. The hand made case is a custom fit and unique to the individual pipe.
