Zeus with Black Stem Meerschaum Pipe - Portrait carving of Zeus, God of the Sky. This carving of Zeus shows him wearing a wreath of leaves that hold down his long hair. His moustache and curly beard covers much of his stern looking face as his eyes gaze straight out. The pipe bowl is quite narrow and very deep. The smooth shank connects to a sleek and very slightly bent stem. Overall a very fine Zeus carving.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long lasting durability.

Every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, so no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a custom made burgundy leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case which is a special fit and unique to this Zeus meerschaum pipe.
