Tiger on Shank Sitting Meerschaum Pipe

Tiger on Shank Sitting Meerschaum Pipe - An unusual carving of a full-body tiger perched behind the pipe bowl on a smooth shank. Its neck is stretched out, and it is peering from one side of the bowl on guard, watching for prey. The top of the pipe is rounded and the bottom is flat to allow the pipe to sit and not topple over. The swirled marble stem is translucent and has a pleasing bend.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every solid block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, each pipe is a unique, one-of-a kind piece of artistry. This hand-carved pipe comes in a specially made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a custom fit and unique to this tiger meerschaum pipe.
