Special 3D Lattice Calabash Meerschaum Pipe - This traditional calabash pipe bowl design is modernized with 3D lattice carving. The talented Turkish carver takes painstaking patience to carve underneath each lattice to achieve the 3D effect. The rim is carved in soft rustication and the bottom of the pipe bowl is carved in regular lattice, with a pattern that carries up the shank. A translucent, full bent stem is marbled in shades of amber and finishes the pipe quite nicely.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating while also drawing out smoke particles and tar. Over time, the pipe will change color as it is smoked. The stem is composed of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand carved pipe comes in a custom-made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a special fit that is unique to this calabash 3D lattice meerschaum pipe.
