Small Antiqued Skull in Talons Meerschaum Pipe

Small Antiqued Skull in Talons Meerschaum Pipe - An intricately carved skull surrounded by powerful curved talons gives this one-of-a-kind Small Antiqued Skull in Talons Meerschaum Pipe a dramatic three-dimensional appearance. The skull features hollow eye sockets, individually sculpted teeth, and a rounded cranium, while oversized talons wrap around its face, creating a striking figural design.

Subtle antiqued coloring enhances the creamy ivory meerschaum, bringing out the carved details and adding depth to the skull and textured claw. Feather-like carving continues along the extended shank, complementing the pipe's elongated profile.

Despite its generous overall length, the pipe features a small tobacco chamber, making it especially suitable for shorter smoking sessions. Its extended shape creates an impressive silhouette without the capacity of a larger bowl.

A polished Amberoid acrylic bent stem displays rich amber, honey, and dark brown marbling, providing warm contrast against the antiqued meerschaum. A Teflon push-pull fitting provides a secure connection while allowing convenient stem removal for cleaning and routine maintenance.

Hand-carved in Turkey from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, the tobacco pipe is finished with natural beeswax to help protect the carved surface and encourage gradual coloring. Naturally porous, meerschaum is valued for its cool, dry, neutral smoking qualities, and no traditional break-in period is required. With continued smoking, the antiqued finish can gradually deepen in color and develop a patina unique to the pipe.

A custom-fitted black leather case with a soft velvet lining and brass hinge is included for storage and protection.

Combining a small bowl, elongated silhouette, dramatic skull and talon carving, and distinctive antiqued finish, this Turkish meerschaum pipe offers collectible appeal for enthusiasts of Gothic artwork and handcrafted figural designs.
