Special Calabash Designer Lattice Meerschaum Pipe

Special Calabash Designer Lattice Meerschaum Pipe - Bold shaping and intricate carving give this one-of-a-kind Special Calabash Designer Lattice Meerschaum Pipe a distinctive look from every angle. The generously flared calabash-style rim creates a dramatic silhouette, while smooth polished sections contrast with finely carved lattice work that wraps around the bowl and continues along the curved shank.

The carving is especially attractive around the broad rim, where decorative openwork forms sweeping bands across the smooth surface. Additional detailed carving covers the lower bowl, creating texture and depth without overwhelming the graceful calabash shape.

A marbled Amberoid acrylic straight stem extends the profile with warm golden and darker amber swirls, providing rich contrast against the creamy-white meerschaum and giving the pipe an elegant, balanced appearance. A Teflon push-pull fitting provides a secure connection while allowing convenient stem removal for cleaning and routine maintenance.

Hand-carved in Turkey from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, the tobacco pipe is finished with natural beeswax to help protect the smooth and intricately carved surfaces and encourage gradual coloring. Naturally porous, meerschaum is valued for its cool, dry, neutral smoking qualities, and no traditional break-in period is required. With continued smoking, the creamy-white surface can gradually develop warmer honey, golden, and amber tones, creating a patina unique to the pipe.

A custom-fitted burgundy leather case with a soft interior lining and brass closure is included for storage and protection.

With its dramatically flared calabash-style rim, contrasting smooth and lattice carving, sweeping openwork details, and marbled Amberoid stem, this solid block Turkish meerschaum pipe offers an especially distinctive combination of sculptural shaping and traditional hand carving.
