Deluxe Hand Carved Cevher MichelangeloMeerschaum Pipe - Portrait pipe of famed Italian artist Michelangelo is carved and signed by Master Carver Cevher. His face is carved in full detail from a traditional Roman nose, deep set eyes and a long flowing moustache blending into his beard. He wears an artsy Renaissance sculpted hat with a long sweeping plume falling over to one side. Cevher's signature is found on the smooth shank. The pipe is lightweight and has a traditional tiger stem that is only slightly bent giving the pipe a bit more length.
This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will continue to color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long lasting durability.
Every meerschaum pipe we sell is hand carved so no two pipes are exactly the same. Each hand carved pipe comes in a custom made burgundy leather and velvet lined brass hinged case which is custom fitted and unique to that individual pipe.
