Embossed Floral Freehand Knurl Meerschaum Pipe - This knurl pipe is carved in a freehand style with a creative, embossed floral and leaf design. The elaborate embossed motif surrounds the pipe bowl and shank. The rim is smooth and shows off the extra thickness of the pipe bowl. The shank sweeps upward in an Oom Paul style, connecting to a decorative knurl that is partially smooth and partially carved. The bent stem is a distinctive color of dark to light amber. An ornamental pipe that will color with character.

A knurl is a piece of solid block meerschaum designed in either a carved or smooth finish. It fits on the shank of the meerschaum pipe and serves as an attractive extension. A knurl makes the shank longer thus increasing the overall length of the pipe. With this extension the smoke has further to travel with more time to cool down before reaching the end of the mouthpiece. Knurls on our meerschaum pipes have a Teflon threaded connector making it easy to remove when cleaning the pipe.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.
