Special Smooth Flat Bottom Oval Shank Meerschaum Pipe - Beautiful oval shank pipe is carved in a silky smooth finish and polished to a fine sheen. It is very lightweight and comfortable to hold. The rounded flat bottom is part of the design and does not function as a sitting pipe. The bent oval saddle stem is marbled in dark amber colors. The carver made the tiniest nick in the bowl that can barely be seen, and won't be visable as the pipe colors.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, so no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a custom made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case which is a special fit and unique to this smooth bowl pipe.
