Signed Govem 3D Lattice Knurl Meerschaum Pipe with Velvet Chest

Signed Govem 3D Lattice Knurl Meerschaum Pipe with Velvet Chest - Deep dimensional carving gives this Premium Signed Govem 3D Lattice Knurl Meerschaum Pipe a commanding presence from every angle. The tall, substantial bowl is surrounded by an elaborate open lattice of raised leaf-like forms, creating a sculptural pattern with impressive depth while showcasing the natural creamy-white color of the meerschaum.

The artistry continues through the extended shank and its removable solid block meerschaum knurl. Each section has its own decorative character, combining basket-weave carving, scrolling motifs, beaded borders, and floral elements. A large floral medallion carved into the underside adds another level of detail that may not be immediately visible from the side.

A smooth band beside the carved knurl bears the Govem signature, identifying the work of master carver A. Govem and distinguishing this pipe from similar lattice designs. The smooth signed area also creates an attractive visual break between the heavily carved sections.

The unusually thick and deep bowl provides generous chamber capacity for a longer, more leisurely smoking session. The carved meerschaum knurl is removable, allowing the overall length and appearance of the pipe to be changed. Enjoy the full extended configuration with the knurl attached, or remove it when a shorter, more compact profile is preferred.

A richly marbled Amberoid acrylic saddle stem completes the design, blending amber, honey, reddish-brown, and darker tones. Sculpted details near the connection complement the ornamental meerschaum carving. A Teflon push-pull fitting provides a secure connection and allows convenient stem removal for routine cleaning and maintenance.

Hand-carved in Turkey from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, the tobacco pipe is naturally porous and valued for its cool, dry, neutral smoking qualities. No traditional break-in period is required. A natural beeswax finish helps protect the intricately carved surface while encouraging the gradual coloring for which meerschaum is prized. With continued smoking, the creamy-white surface can gradually develop warmer honey, golden, and amber tones, creating a patina unique to the pipe.

A custom-fitted burgundy velvet presentation chest accompanies this special Govem pipe. Finished with gold-tone trim and a soft gold-colored interior, the spacious chest is custom-fitted to accommodate the pipe and its removable components while providing an elegant setting for storage, protection, and display.

Signed by A. Govem and distinguished by its 3D lattice bowl, removable carved meerschaum knurl, floral underside medallion, marbled designer stem, and two possible length configurations, this one-of-a-kind pipe brings together elaborate Turkish carving, versatility, and collectible master-carver craftsmanship.
