Deluxe Laughing Bacchus Full Bent Meerschaum Pipe - Something certainly made this Bacchus happy! Considering the expression on his face, this Bacchus may have had a bit too much wine! You can almost hear his laughter, and just looking at him puts a smile on my face. The fine portrait carving shows Bacchus with a full, wavy beard wearing a wreath of grape leaves. A cluster of grapes hangs down on each side of the deep pipe bowl. The smooth shank has a very light carving of a grape leaf on its underside. The stem is a unique translucent red color and is fully bent. What a marvelous pipe to add to your collection, and one that will certainly draw attention.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made out of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
