This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every solid block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, each pipe is a unique, one-of-a kind piece of artistry. This hand carved meerschaum pipe comes in a specially made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a custom fit that is unique to this Bacchus meerschaum pipe.
