Deluxe Lion in Backwards Claw Meerschaum Pipe - Large growling lion with a full mane looks like it's jumping out from the backwards claw that holds it. This is an impressive carving showing the eagle's claw coming up the back of the lion's head with a firm grip. The lion head serves as a deep pipe bowl and for its bold look the pipe is surprisingly lightweight. The scrolled designer stem is bent and colored in deep amber tones. The pipe is a good size to fit in a large hand. Handsome collectible pipe and a great smoking pipe too!

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long lasting durability.

Every meerschaum pipe we sell is hand carved so no two pipes are exactly the same. Each hand carved pipe comes in a custom black leather and velvet lined brass hinged case. The hand made case is a custom fit and unique to the individual pipe.
