Nording Freehand Churchwarden Briar Pipe - This churchwarden briar pipe was carved freehand. The pipe bowl flares outward in a Dublin style and gives the pipe a wide rim. The gorgeous, rich brown, straight wood grain is magnified by a high-gloss polished finish. The pipe features a spigot fitting made of shiny silver metal that adds a top-quality appearance to the pipe. The churchwarden pipe was made by the famous Danish pipe maker Erik Nording. It is stamped "Nording Denmark" on the underside of the shank. The tapering, black churchwarden stem features a delicate little bend and a scripted initial "N" embedded in the vulcanite stem. This one-of-a-kind pipe comes in a brown velvet drawstring pouch with the Nording signature logo and Denmark printed in gold.
Erik Nording has been known worldwide since the early 1960's for his unique, one of a kind, hand carved freehand pipes. His pipes have a reputation of feeling good in the hand, light in the mouth and they are guaranteed to smoke great from the very first puff. Located just outside of Copenhagen, Denmark, no two Nording pipes are identical making each one very personal and highly collectible.
