Nording Rustic Freehand Churchwarden Briar Pipe - An extra-tall pipe bowl is carved in a rustic style around most of the bowl and shank. The bowl's top is smooth, while the rim is rusticated and left in its natural form. This churchwarden briar pipe was made by the famous Danish pipe maker Erik Nording and is stamped "Nording Denmark" on the underside of the shank. The pipe has a spigot fitting made of bright silver metal, giving the rustic pipe a sophisticated appearance. The black tapered churchwarden stem features a large sweeping bend and a scripted initial "N" embedded in the vulcanite stem. This one-of-a-kind pipe comes in a brown velvet drawstring pouch with the Nording signature logo and Denmark printed in gold.
Erik Nording has been known worldwide since the early 1960's for his unique, one of a kind, hand carved freehand pipes. His pipes have a reputation of feeling good in the hand, light in the mouth and they are guaranteed to smoke great from the very first puff. Located just outside of Copenhagen, Denmark, no two Nording pipes are identical making each one very personal and highly collectible.
