Double Head Pirate and Bear Meerschaum Pipe - There are not too many bears or pirates in Turkey nowadays so this carver used his imagination to carve this double head pipe. The carving shows the head of a bearded laughing pirate with an eyepatch over one eye being held by an opened mouth bear. The pipe has a gorgeous designer scrolled stem with a slight bent. Unique pipe that will be a good smoker and a conversational piece.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, so no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a specially made burgundy leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case which is a custom fit and unique to that individual pipe.
