Signed M. Ali Sultan Meerschaum Pipe - Turkish meerschaum pipe carver M. Ali carved this portrait of a Sultan. The bearded Sultan wears a turban with a majestic plume and this makes for a tall pipe bowl. On the side of the smooth shank is the M. Ali signature. A translucent amber colored bent designer stem is the finishing touch to this fine signed pipe.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, so no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a specially made burgundy leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case which is a custom fit and unique to that individual pipe.
