Special Signed Baglan Floral Apple Meerschaum Pipe

Special Signed Baglan Floral Apple Meerschaum Pipe - Elaborate floral carving gives this one-of-a-kind Special Signed Baglan Floral Apple Meerschaum Pipe exceptional detail from nearly every angle. Created by master carver I. Baglan, the rounded apple bowl is covered with two rows of flowers and deeply cut leaves, creating a dimensional pattern that follows the full shape of the bowl.

The carving continues across the underside and into the shank rather than stopping at the sides. Long feathered leaf patterns run lengthwise along the shank, while the heel features an impressive circular floral design arranged around a raised center. These different carving techniques give the pipe added visual interest when viewed from above, below, or either side.

A smooth band near the stem provides contrast to the surrounding carved surface and bears the Baglan signature, identifying the work of the master carver. A warm amber-colored Amberoid acrylic scrolled designer stem features sculpted contours and a gentle bend, complementing the natural creamy-white meerschaum. A precision Teflon push-pull fitting provides a secure connection while allowing convenient stem removal for cleaning and routine maintenance.

Hand-carved in Turkey from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, the tobacco pipe is finished with natural beeswax to help protect the intricately carved surface and encourage gradual coloring. Naturally porous, meerschaum is valued for its cool, dry, neutral smoking qualities, and no traditional break-in period is required. With continued smoking, the creamy-white surface can gradually develop warmer honey, golden, and amber tones, creating a patina unique to the pipe.

Presented in a custom-fitted burgundy leather case with a soft velvet lining and brass hinge, this signed I. Baglan pipe combines a classic apple profile, extensive floral carving, and collectible master-carver craftsmanship.
