Pre-colored Signed Kenan Tree Spirit Meerschaum Pipe

Pre-colored Signed Kenan Tree Spirit Meerschaum Pipe - An extraordinary example of Turkish figural carving, this very large, one-of-a-kind Pre-colored Signed Kenan Tree Spirit Meerschaum Pipe features a mysterious woodland face emerging from the rugged surface of an ancient tree. Deeply carved vertical wood grain forms the tree spirit's towering hair, while expressive eyes, a prominent nose, and flowing textured beard give the sculpture a lifelike, mystical appearance.

Designed in a distinctive Oom Paul style, the pipe features an exceptionally deep bowl rising above the carved face and a sharply upward-angled shank that creates a dramatic silhouette. Despite its substantial size and intricate carving, the pipe is surprisingly lightweight, offering a comfortable feel for a large collectible meerschaum pipe.

The rich golden honey, amber, and dark brown pre-colored finish highlights the sculpted wood grain, rugged bark, and detailed facial features, creating the appearance of aged wood. The Kenan signature, carved into the side of the shank, identifies the master carver and enhances the pipe's collectible appeal.

A beautifully full bent Amberoid acrylic scrolled designer stem displays swirling shades of reddish amber, caramel, and honey brown. Its decorative sculpted connection complements the tree-inspired carving, while a Teflon push-pull fitting provides a secure connection and allows convenient stem removal for cleaning and maintenance.

Hand-carved in Turkey from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, the tobacco pipe is finished with natural beeswax to help protect the carved surface and encourage gradual coloring. Naturally porous, meerschaum is valued for its cool, dry, neutral smoking qualities, with no traditional break-in period required. With continued smoking, the pre-colored surface may develop additional warmth and a distinctive patina.

A custom-fitted burgundy leather case with a soft velvet lining and brass hinge is included for storage and protection.

Combining an impressive Tree Spirit carving, exceptionally deep bowl, dramatic Oom Paul profile, and authentic Kenan signature, this premium Turkish meerschaum pipe offers remarkable woodland artistry and lasting collectible appeal.
