Special Skull in Eagle Claw Meerschaum Pipe

Special Skull in Eagle Claw Meerschaum Pipe - A dramatic skull gripped by a powerful eagle claw makes this one-of-a-kind Special Skull in Eagle Claw Meerschaum Pipe an impressive example of Turkish figural carving. The skull features deeply recessed eye sockets, a prominent nasal cavity, and individually sculpted teeth, while the eagle's curved talons wrap around its face, creating a striking three-dimensional design.

The eagle claw extends along the sides of the skull, displaying carefully carved feather textures, overlapping scales, and powerful talons. Smooth, polished surfaces contrast with the intricate detailing, highlighting the craftsmanship and natural beauty of the creamy-white meerschaum.

A gracefully bent translucent Amberoid acrylic stem features swirling amber, golden-orange, and dark brown tones. Its polished finish complements the sculpted bowl while adding warmth and contrast to the dramatic design. A Teflon push-pull fitting provides a secure connection while allowing convenient stem removal for cleaning and routine maintenance.

Hand-carved in Turkey from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, the tobacco pipe is finished with natural beeswax to help protect the carved surface and encourage gradual coloring. Naturally porous, meerschaum is valued for its cool, dry, neutral smoking qualities, and no traditional break-in period is required. With continued smoking, the creamy-white surface can gradually develop warmer honey, golden, and amber tones, creating a patina unique to the pipe.

A custom-fitted burgundy leather case with a soft velvet lining and brass hinge is included for storage and protection.

Combining a detailed skull portrait, powerful eagle talons, intricate feather and scale carving, and a richly marbled bent stem, this solid block Turkish meerschaum pipe offers distinctive Gothic artistry and collectible appeal.
