Deluxe Volcano Oval Shank Meerschaum Pipe - Find the best of both worlds of carving in meerschaum, smooth and lattice, with this volcano-style pipe bowl. The top is carved in a teardrop lattice, with fine lattice circles filling in between the teardrops. The bottom half of the bowl and shank have a smooth finish. The pipe sits with a lean to either side and will not spill out tobacco. It is polished to a nice gloss finish. The smooth oval shank connects to an oval saddle stem that is slightly bent and colored in rich shades of marbled amber. An attractive pipe that is ideal for the tobacco pipe smoker who is fond of the volcano and oval shapes.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.
