Special Signed Baglan Eagle & Frog Meerschaum Pipe

Special Signed Baglan Eagle & Frog Meerschaum Pipe - A remarkable example of Turkish carving artistry, this one-of-a-kind Special Signed Baglan Eagle & Frog Meerschaum Pipe captures a dramatic wildlife scene featuring a powerful eagle clutching a frog in its sharply curved beak. Hand-carved by master artisan I. Baglan, the pipe combines expressive animal detailing with elaborate feather carving, creating a distinctive collectible smoking pipe.

The eagle's commanding expression is captured through deeply sculpted eyes, a prominent hooked beak, and carefully defined facial features. Its magnificent plumage extends across the bowl and shank, with overlapping feathers individually textured to create depth and movement. The intricately carved frog adds an unusual and captivating element to the composition.

The I. Baglan signature, carved near the end of the shank, identifies the master carver and enhances the pipe's collectible appeal.

An elegant marbled Amberoid acrylic designer stem displays swirling shades of golden honey, caramel, and rich amber. Sculpted decorative accents and a gracefully curved mouthpiece complement the intricate wildlife carving. A Teflon push-pull fitting provides a secure connection and allows convenient stem removal for cleaning and maintenance.

Hand-carved in Turkey from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, the tobacco pipe is finished with natural beeswax to help protect the carved surface and encourage gradual coloring. Naturally porous, meerschaum is valued for its cool, dry, neutral smoking qualities, with no traditional break-in period required. With continued smoking, the creamy-white surface can gradually develop warmer honey, golden, and amber tones, highlighting the detailed feather carving.

A custom-fitted burgundy leather case with a soft velvet lining and decorative brass clasp is included for storage and protection.

Combining a dramatic eagle-and-frog composition, intricate feather carving, and signed Baglan craftsmanship, this exceptional Turkish meerschaum pipe offers distinctive wildlife artistry and lasting collectible appeal.
